Wish You Were Queer fyller ett år och unnar sig riktigt lyxig tårta – till Halloween-festen på Världskulturmuséet har de nämligen bokat Cakes Da Killa! Vi slängde iväg några frågor till Brooklyn-rapparen.

Hi! How are you? – Currently on a bus heading to a gig and I’m hungry.

Oh, hope you get something to eat soon! Did you always know that hip hop music was going to be your thing? – No, not at all. I sort of fell into it.

What did you listen to growing up? – Hip hop was always around but I gravitated more to house, club, disco, funk and other dance based genres from the past because I love to dance.

Who doesn’t? Your EP #IMF was released earlier this year – how would you describe it compared to what you did before? – Way more vulnerable and delicate.

Now you’re coming to Gothenburg for Wish You Were Queer’s Halloween Party! What can we expect there? – Something spooky.

Did you already plan your outfit? – No I do everything last minute.

What’s the best cake for Halloween? – Me.

Besides coming to Sweden, what’s up next for you? – Finalizing my album, more touring, more acting and finally buying a bed frame.
