Hi Shabazz Palaces! What are you up to?

– In the Geneva airport waiting for a plane to Finland.

It's been two years since you were last in Gothenburg, what have you been up to?

– Just anxiously waiting to return to Gothenburg.

Of course, that sounds totally reasonable. For anyone who missed you the last time you were here: why would they be idiots if they missed you this time too?

– They won’t be idiots, they will just miss out on a good time

I read that you turned an old brewery into a studio for your latest release Lese Majesty. How would you say those surroundings influenced the record?

– A Blue Oyster Cult groupie once passed out in our space and the ghost of her drunk self pours an eliding ghost brew on all of the low end frequencies.

Apart from touring; what's your plans for the rest of the year?

– Funny you should ask, I’m, or I should say we are planning a truncated decathalon contest between Richard Branson, myself and Gerard Depardeau. We met at a brothel in Brisbane and Branson issued the challenge. we're looking at late December at the UCLA track facility.
