Den här veckan är Veckans Dj på Djungeltrummans uppslag i GP Romeo Stodart frånThe Magic Numbers, som spelar skivor påModern Loverspå Pustervik på fredag. Men allt fick liksom inte plats på GP-utrymmet och Romeo berättade mycket bra, så vad skulle jag göra? What's happening with Magic Numbers right now?

– We've actually just finished recording our new album, so the feeling within the band at this very moment is probably relief. We can breathe again, it's an intense period making a record. You can easily get lost in the studio and sometimes songs really don't want to be captured, so you have to wait for them to surrender gracefully. I do think we've nailed it with this one, nailed something anyway. They're definitely some of the best songs I've written, so I'm anxious for people to hear it. I've fallen in love with the guitar again so it's a rocker, well the majority of it is. My sister Michele's actually been double busy as she's made a really beautiful solo acoustic record which is out now!

What would you like to bring with you from the London music scene?

– There's a couple of great newish country soul groups I really love listening to at home, both with great singers and timeless songs, you should check out The Treetop Flyers and Goldheart Assembly.
