1 – OWN YOUR LAMENESS
No matter how geeky, lame or needy someone claims you are, if you own it than they have no power over you. Let your freak flag fly.

2 – ANGER AND SADNESS ARE POSITIVE EMOTIONS. HATE AND OPPRESSION ARE NEGATIVE EMOTIONS.
Feelings of anger and sadness can be wonderful mechanisms for release and change, while hatred and depression are emotions that can overcome a person and in turn control their life.

3 – EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO SAY BUT NOT EVERYTHING SOMEONE SAYS IS IMPORTANT.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and while we should listen to their opinion, it is certainly not guaranteed to be valid.

4 – LIVE AND LET LIVE.
People should be entitled to do whatever they want so long as they aren’t hurting others in the process. No matter how personally distasteful one finds someone else enjoyment, they should never seek to prohibit it.

5 – MANNERS MAKETH HUMAN.
There is no reason to be impolite to the people around you that are providing a service. Rudeness and disrespect is never cool and should be subject to scorn.

6 – FAT DOES NOT EQUAL UNHEALTHY.
While I am in no way claiming to be healthy, I certainly do not buy into the myth that someone’s body mass dictates their well-being.

7 – AMATUERNESS IS CLOSE TO GODLINESS.
Mastery of ones chosen art form is completely overrated. Virtuosity normally leads to all the passion being sucked away.

8 – THERE ARE MANY BETTER PEOPLE TO KILL THAN YOURSELF.
At times in this life, the world can get you down and you feel like packing it all in. But no matter why, you can not let the fuckers drag  you down.

9 A FANATIC IS A FANATIC IS A FANATIC.
Whether a believer or an atheist, no one has all the answers. There is no point believing someone who claims they do.

10 RECORDS GO OUT OF PRINT, MONEY DOESN’T.
When you see a rare record for a reasonable price, buy it. You can always find more money.
