- Devonté Hynes (Lightspeed Champion) släpper inte bara eget i år utan hjälper Theophilus London på hans kommande platta.
- Editors har släppt en ny, skitkass låt. Jag gillar en låt från Editors: Stereolab-covern French Disko. Vilket kanske inte beror på Editors... Vad säger ni?
- Death Metal Disco Scene släpper i väntan på nytt material en remix på Gorillaz Stylo. Gorillaz som har en ny skiva i butik 8 mars.
- Yeasayer-Chris pratar i en intervju för australiensiska Pedestrian TV om hypen kring Brooklyn och om processen med nya skivan.
- New York Fashion Week gick av stapeln denna månad och låtar från La Roux, Phoenix, Gossip och Florence + The Machine gick varma på catwalken enligt Vanity Fair. Fashion!

- Lightspeed Champions nya EP Marlene: Devonté Hynes spelar alla instrument själv på b-sidorna som är; en cover på Serge Gainsbourgs 69 Anneé Erotique, Tete Morte som är en fransk version av en låt på kommande albumet och en version på (He's) The Great Imposter.

- Och så veckans samtalsämne: Var det verkligen Karin Dreijer som tog emot priset? Alla var väl överens om att det inte spelar någon roll, det är ju så man ska göra det!
- Dazed January Playlist bjussar på nya låtar från ovan nämnda Charlotte, Yeasayer, Beach House och The Soft Pack bland annat. En mycket bra sammanfattning av januari-musiken!

Lightspeed Champion gave us the EP "Marlene" including a cover of Serge Gainsbourgs 69 Année Erotique, a french version of a song from his forthcoming album and version of (He's) The Great Imposter. Charlotte Gainsbourg however sings with Beck on Heaven Can Wait. Then we have the extraordinary remix by XX on Florence + the Machine You Got the Love. The topic of conversations this week was undoubtedly Fever Ray when she (or was it really Karin Dreijer?) won the prize at Swedens "P3 Guldgala". And last but not least: Dazed January Playlist is a perfect summary of this month!
